2014 Finishes

2014 began slowly, with no cross stitching in January as I was away in New York. I spent February on a dud birth sampler that I decided I didn't like. From March onwards I got stuck into it, starting with a birth sampler for a friend, moving on to a Mirabilia for myself (one of my fastest finishes to date), a birthday gift for my brother. My final finishes for the year were for my husband's 30th birthday, including my first ever designed piece. We moved interstate in November and the rest of my year was taken up with new starts and no more finishes.
